The Department of Pediatrics proudly welcomes these new team members:
On Saturday, August 2, the Community and General Pediatrics Division came together for a much-needed wellness event at The Pickleball Spot from 3 to 5 p.m. True to the theme “Movement is Medicine,” faculty, families, and spouses hit the courts for a lively afternoon of pickleball, connection, and fun.
In true pediatric spirit, the group brought the energy — with a nod to Richard Simmons, many showed up in their best ’80s aerobic gear! New faculty were warmly welcomed into the fold, and the afternoon was filled with camaraderie, laughter, and joy, reminding everyone how meaningful time together outside of work can be.
Here’s to more events like this — where movement, friendship, and a little retro flair come together to refuel our spirits.
