Biography

Marie Dawlett, MD, FAAP, is a professor and pediatric hospitalist dedicated to advancing child health through excellence in clinical care, education, and quality improvement. She completed her medical degree and pediatric residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMBC) in Galveston, TX.

Dr. Dawlett’s interests are improving the quality of care for hospitalized children with chronic medical needs and rehabilitation. She is recognized for her service on national committees through the American Academy of Pediatrics, extensive mentoring and advising, and awards in excellence of medical student education and clinical teaching. She is also a member of the Academy of Master Teachers.
