2025 Faculty Educator Awards
We are very pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s Faculty Educator Awards in the Department of Pediatrics. These awards recognize exceptional contributions to medical education by our faculty, honoring excellence in teaching, curriculum development, mentorship, and overall commitment to our learners.
The awards are presented in two categories:
- Junior Educator Award, for faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor
- Senior Educator Award, for faculty at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor
Nominees have served at UTHealth Houston in their current academic rank for at least two consecutive years. The awards are based on their educational contributions during their time at that rank. The Educator Award recipients were determined by review of the nominee’s application packet that included the Educator’s Portfolio, letters of support, and other materials by a subcommittee of the Pediatric Medical Education Committee.
