Hematology has strong presence at THSNA 2026
Nurse Practitioners Natalie Montanez, FNP-C, CACP, and Joanna Larson, FNP-C, along with Genetic Counselor Rida Haider, MS, CGC, recently presented at the Thrombosis and Hemostasis Summit of North America (THSNA) (external link) national meeting in Portland, Oregon. The team presented two posters, co-authored by Miguel Escobar, MD, and Harish Eswaran, MD: “Combined Factor V and Factor VIII Deficiency Associated with Compound Heterozygous LMAN1 Variants: A Case Report” and “APOLID1″ Associate Vascular-Type Bleeding Disorder Presenting with Severe Postoperative Hemorrhage.”
In addition to these poster presentations, Joanna participated in the Nursing Working Group to plan sessions, and Natalie was an invited speaker for the meeting.
