Medical Genetics represents at ACMG 2026

The annual meeting of the American College of Medical Genetics (external link) (ACMG) was held March 10-14 in Baltimore, MD. The McGovern Medical School Division of Medical Genetics had six attendees: two Combined Pediatrics/Medical Genetics Residents — Roshni Chugh, MD, and Suad Siuffi Campo, MD — and four faculty: Division Chief Hope Northrup, MD; Assistant Professor Kate Richardson, MS, CGC; Instructor Sophia Kulkarni, MS, CGC; and Instructor Nicole Talaba, MS, CGC. All presented posters.

Suad competed in the GENEius challenge, a competition styled after the game show Jeopardy to test trainees’ knowledge of genetics, and made it to the GENEius semifinals.
