Biography

Jon Meliones, MD, MS, FCCM, is a professor in the Children’s Heart Institute, Division of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Medicine. He is a pediatric cardiac intensivist and serves as the executive co-director for the Children’s Heart Institute, section chief of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and medical director for the Heart Center ICU (HCICU)/extracorporeal life support.

Dr. Meliones earned his medical degree from Tufts University of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed both his pediatric cardiology and pediatric critical care fellowships at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, affiliated with the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
