Alexandria Laws, MD, MPH, is a native Houstonian, assistant professor of pediatrics, and board-eligible pediatrician dedicated to advancing child health through clinical care, education, advocacy, and health policy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University, followed by her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from Ross University School of Medicine/Chamberlain University.
Her professional interests include adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), trauma-informed care, health equity, and physician advocacy. Dr. Laws is passionate about helping children and families navigate complex social and healthcare systems by connecting them with the resources and support they need to thrive. She is committed to educating future pediatricians and advancing equitable, community-centered care through advocacy and meaningful community partnerships.
