Biography

(Muhammad) Adil Siddiqui, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in pediatric hospital medicine and is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care for hospitalized children. He cares for patients with a broad spectrum of acute illnesses and medically complex conditions while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver family-centered care.

Dr. Siddiqui earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, before completing his pediatric residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He then completed fellowship training in pediatric hospital medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

Dr. Siddiqui’s professional interests include simulation-based education, point-of-care ultrasound, social determinants of health, and the development of evidence-based clinical pathways to improve the quality and safety of pediatric inpatient care. He is deeply interested in exploring how families navigate their child’s hospitalization, including the social, emotional, and systemic factors that shape their experience. He has presented scholarly work at national meetings on medical education, quality improvement, and health equity.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Siddiqui is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. He is dedicated to fostering a collaborative learning environment while advancing patient care through ongoing education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
