Our PM&R Residency Program is now a 4 year Categorical Program

We are happy to announce that our 3 year Advanced Residency Program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will be switching to a 4 year Categorical Program effective immediately. We will start recruiting four PGY-1 positions in this upcoming 2017 NRMP Match. We will offer a first year internship based on Internal Medicine and its subspecialties in which our residents will rotate through several of our academic hospital partners including Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, TIRR Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation System and Harris Health. We are really excited about developing this categorical program. This change will help us develop our department’s vision and mission and will put us in a position to recruit the best and the brightest into our specialty.
