Dr. Monica Verduzco-Gutierrez was admitted to the incoming class of the highly-competitive Program for Academic Leadership (PAL) of the AAP. PAL is a three-year program aimed at developing the academic leadership skills of early career faculty. She becomes the third member of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to have been admitted to this elite program after Drs. Jeff Berliner (2011) and Glenda Bosques (2014).
