Biography

Ajai Sambasivan, M.D. joined the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston (UTHealth) after completing his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal and Interventional Pain at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Dr. Sambasivan is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and is an Assistant Professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. Dr. Sambasivan’s primary focus is diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal and spine pain with therapy, bracing, medications, diagnostic testing, and imaged-guided interventional procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and rehabilitation and American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography.
