Biography

Dr. Thomas is a board certified physiatrist. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed her residency training in PM&R at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Brain Injury and Spasticity Management at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. She joined the faculty of PMR at UT Health Houston in 2011 and was appointed Chief of PMR at Lyndon B Johnson General Hospital in 2011. Her current scope of practice includes General Physiatry with a special interest in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and Spasticity Management.
