Dr. Nikola Dragojlovic is an assistant professor in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at McGovern Medical School. He completed residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UTHealth in Houston, where he served as chief resident. He then stayed to complete the brain injury medicine fellowship at UTHealth and TIRR Memorial Hermann. During fellowship, he was selected into the inaugural class of the Physician Educator Certificate Program at McGovern Medical School, and still enjoys participating in curriculum development and resident education. He joins the faculty of physiatrists working at TIRR Memorial Hermann and Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center to deliver the highest level of rehabilitation care to those in need.
Dr. Dragojlovic is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He specializes in helping those with neurologic conditions and traumatic injuries make the most of the rehabilitation and recovery. Through his residency and fellowship training, he developed a passion for helping those with stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion, and other neurologic disorders. Dr. Dragojlovic is also trained in spasticity management using chemodenervation procedures like botulinum toxin injections, and intrathecal baclofen pump management. He is a member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR). Outside of his clinical practice, he volunteers for local programs that distribute helmets to children and teach safe driving skills to teenagers.
