Biography

Dr. Asmeen Bhatt received her medical degree at the University of Mumbai in India and thereafter received a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Canton Medical Education Foundation in Canton, Ohio. She then worked as an attending in Denver, Colorado where she also conducted research in liver diseases at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Center, Colorado. She then finished a fellowship in Gastroenterology from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Galveston, Texas.

Dr. Bhatt is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and provides comprehensive care for gastrointestinal and liver diseases and is trained in various gastrointestinal procedures. She also specializes in Obesity management and Bariatric endoscopy and is committed to helping her patients lose weight and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Bhatt has presented her research in national and international meetings and is published both in basic science and clinical research. During her graduate training, Dr. Bhatt was funded for her research by the American Liver Foundation and the American Heart Association. She has published her work in well-renowned scientific medical journals.

Dr. Bhatt enjoys spending quality time with her family and loves a good cup of coffee. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, running, cooking, baking, and movies.
