The Core and Affiliated Laboratories of the McGovern Medical School Department of Surgery represent a cohesive effort on the part of hundreds of research scientists to push out the boundaries of surgical knowledge and treatment.  We are careful, imaginative, and persistent in our inquiries, and we keep our eyes on what is actually going to improve the lives of our patients and our own families.  We are constantly seeking new members for our labs.
