Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency Program

The Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency Program at UTHealth Houston is a five-year, Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited program offering a comprehensive learning experience covering the full spectrum of vascular disorders treated by both open and endovascular procedures, creating a robust educational experience for our trainees. Our mission is to prepare trainees to pass examinations required to achieve board certification in vascular surgery and to create a rich, educational experience for future leaders in vascular and endovascular surgery.

This program is enhanced by the expansive clinical volume handled by our hospital partners, Memorial Hermann Health System, allowing our residents to build and strengthen their knowledge, judgment, and skills through daily interactions with our faculty to care for patients in the clinics, operating room, and in didactic conferences.

UTHealth Houston is a world-renowned academic health center recognized for exceptional, leading-edge treatment for patients. With locations within the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world, UTHealth Houston physicians handle some of the most complex cases around the globe.
