Biography

Rod Jay Turner Jr., MD, is a primary care and sports medicine specialist. He sees patients of all ages and provides tailored treatment plans for a wide range of injuries related to sports and exercise.

Dr. Turner received his bachelor’s in molecular and cellular biology from Vanderbilt University, his master’s from University of South Florida, and medical degree from UTHealth Houston. In addition, he completed both an internship and residency at UTHealth Houston as well.

Dr. Turner is a team physician for the Houston Rockets, Houston Dynamo and St. Thomas University
