Center for Population Health Sciences
Population health research is essential for understanding health determinants and outcomes beyond the individual level, thereby guiding interventions that improve health in the population served by the health system. The Center for Population Health Sciences is facilitating new research initiatives that will benefit long-term population health in Greater Houston, the state of Texas, and beyond. The Center is currently recruiting new population health investigators and developing transdisciplinary research collaborations at UTHealth Houston; leveraging regional, state, and national data sources for new population health research studies and grant applications; and creating new population health research and mentoring opportunities for UTHealth Houston faculty and trainees.
