Biography
Dr. Sadia Ashraf obtained her Masters degree from University of Leeds UK and her Doctorate degree from University of Padua Italy. Her research is focused on investigating role of a transcriptional factor in regulating cardiac transcriptional networks. More specifically Dr Ashraf research goal is to understand molecular events occurring at a cardiomyocyte level in response to stress conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. And further to dissect the role played transcription factor NR4A2 in cardiac adaptability under conditions of stress.
Dr Ashraf is a member of American Heart Association and the American Physiological Society.
