Biography

Paula Debroy, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine. She completed medical school at Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala followed by Internal Medicine Residency at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. She completed an Infectious Diseases fellowship followed by an HIV Medicine fellowship at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Debroy’s outpatient practice focuses on the care of adults with HIV. She is an active member of the AIDS Clinical Trials Group. Her research interests include body composition changes in chronic HIV infection, adipose tissue health and cardiovascular risk disease, and HIV-related clinical trials.
