Biography
Dr. Dash completed his medical school training at Texas Tech School of Medicine in 2020 and his Internal Medicine Residency at UTHealth Houston in 2023. He also completed his undergraduate education in biochemistry at UT Austin. As his experience involves dueling universities, he is a red-raider basketball fan and a Longhorn football fan.
His clinical interests include medical student education, quality improvement and control, and hospital risk case reviews. He is primarily based at LBJ General Hospital and practices both inpatient and outpatient medicine. His teaching philosophy empowers students and residents to foster resilience, innovation, and commitment to continuous education. He is a Dean’s Teaching Excellence award winner and named an Outstanding Resident in his graduating class.
His hobbies include playing racket sports, basketball, hiking, and collecting memorabilia. One of his goals is to visit every U.S. National Park, and he has visited 23/63 and counting and hiked many challenging trails. A life goal is to hike the Pacific Northwest Trail.
