Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify limits of current diagnostic approaches to atherosclerosis and new approaches to treatment of coronary artery disease and stroke.
- Apply knowledge of nitric oxide to better evaluate and treat cardiovascular disease.
- Identify limitations in evaluating aortic stenosis and the efforts to better define and treat this.
- Describe molecular mechanics regulating cardiac metabolism to tailor interventions for treatment and prevention.
- Describe what the Clinical Center of Translational Science is and how it can help.
