Mahboobeh Mahdavinia, MD, PhD

The Allergy and Immunology Research Center for Allergic and Immunologic Disease is committed to advancing research into the mechanisms, diagnosis, and management of allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, atopy, food allergy, and chronic rhinosinusitis. Our work spans multiple areas, including the influence of environmental exposures and the microbiome on immune function and disease expression.

Led by Mahboobeh Mahdavinia, MD, PhD, Professor and John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Distinguished Chair, our team investigates the complex interactions between the immune system and external factors. Through mechanistic and translational research, we aim to inform the development of precision diagnostics, preventive strategies, and targeted therapies.

Join us in our journey to advance the understanding of allergic and immunologic diseases through research that connects scientific insight to clinical application and improved patient outcomes.
