McGovern Summer Research Internship
Nicole Koulov, MS1
“I am interested in research that directly informs patient care, particularly in identifying prognostic factors that can improve disease outcomes. This summer, I worked on a project exploring the relationship between eczema and the likelihood of outgrowing food allergies in children. I really enjoyed getting to immerse myself in summer research with the Division of Allergy and Immunology. This experience strengthened my critical thinking and problem-solving skills and deepened my understanding of the clinical research process.”
