Biography

Dr. McCray received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Austin (UTHealth) and was awarded her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). She completed her internship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and her residency training in internal medicine as well as her rheumatology fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston (UTHealth). She is board certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology. In 2013, she joined the faculty at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston (UTHealth) as an Assistant Professor. She is now an Associate Professor and Program Director for the Rheumatology Fellowship Program. Her clinical interests include all forms of vasculitis as well as other rheumatic diseases. She provides general rheumatology care and consultation at UT Professional Building, Memorial Hermann Hospital and Lyndon Baines Johnson General Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the Texas Medical Association, as well as the Harris County Medical Society. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha in 2008.
