My interest is in gastrointestinal malignancies, and I have been involved as principal investigator on several clinical trials, including one on hepatocellular carcinoma. I am currently overseeing the research activities of the Division of Oncology and act as Chair of the Memorial Hermann Cancer Center Quality of Care Committee. I am also one of the core faculty for the UT Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program, which started in 2018.
Beyond my roles as a physician and clinical researcher, I an involved in non-profit organizations and like to be active with running, yoga, and Pilates. I enjoy many other activities with my family and friends, including cooking, painting, and arts and crafts, and most of all, enjoying Houston life.
