Te’Ann Parker, CCA, Pediatrics
Te’Ann Parker is a CCA (Coding Compliance Analyst) for the department of Pediatrics. She got her start at UT Health in the Comprehensive Sickle Cell Clinic as a Lead Patient Access Representative.
She was one of many UT Health staff members to harness the internal opportunity of UT Health’s CPC Review Course. After attending the course, Te’Ann sat for and passed the AAPC national exam, earning her (CPC) Certified Professional Coder credential. Shortly afterwards, she got her start as a coder in the Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences department.
Sometime later, an opportunity for promotion presented itself, and she made the move to Pediatrics.
Te’Ann is a Houston native and enjoys spending time with her family, 4 children and 1 one grandchild. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, drawing, and handcrafting such items as tumblers and t-shirts, to name a few. She plans to continue her quest for professional improvement by sitting for additional credentials.
