Home Sleep Study

UTHealth Houston Neurosciences offers Home Sleep Testing (HST) to qualified patients with concerns about having a sleep disorder, allowing our sleep specialists to measure a patient’s sleep patterns related to breathing, without having to refer the patient to a testing facility for a traditional sleep study.

A home sleep test is sent home with the patient for use for data collection overnight. When the device is returned, a UTHealth Houston Neurosciences sleep specialist will analyze the data for indications of sleep disordered breathing or Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Once our team has had a chance to review a patient’s home sleep test results, a treatment program can be prescribed.
