Claudia Pedroza, PhD, is a professor of pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and a senior biostatistician at the Institute for Clinical Research and Learning Health Care. She received her PhD in Statistics from Harvard University.
Dr. Pedroza’s research focuses on the development and application of Bayesian and adaptive methods for multicenter clinical trials, including trial monitoring, informative priors, and estimation of treatment effects. She has served as principal investigator or co-investigator on numerous NIH, NICHD, PCORI, and Department of Defense–funded studies and has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications.
