Biography

Dr. Roukaya Al Hammoud is a board-certified pediatric infectious diseases physician with clinical expertise in general pediatric infections and congenital infections. She is passionate about delivering comprehensive care to children affected by complex infectious diseases, and her work is rooted in evidence-based medicine and compassionate, family-centered care.

Her research interests include immune responses to infections and vaccines in the pediatric population and congenital infections. Dr. Al Hammoud is committed to advancing clinical research that informs best practices and improves health outcomes for vulnerable children globally.

Dr. Al Hammoud continues to be engaged in both clinical care and academic research, with a particular focus on infectious disease prevention, global child health, and improving therapeutic approaches through translational research.
