Biography

Taylor D. Landis, PhD, is a pediatric health psychologist and assistant professor of pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She provides inpatient consultation and liaison services at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. Her clinical practice includes providing evidence-based, family-centered psychological care to hospitalized children, adolescents, and their caregivers, particularly those navigating acute and chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Landis is actively involved in medical education for residents and fellows and simulation-based training focused on psychosocial complexity in the medical setting. She also contributes to multiple institutional quality and safety initiatives, including system-wide suicide prevention efforts.
