Over the past month, members of the Department of Pediatrics have published important research in respected journals and been accepted to present at renowned conferences. Congratulations to:

Presentations

Michael Chang, MD (Associate Professor, Infectious Diseases), and Misti Ellsworth, DO (Associate Professor, Infectious Diseases), were lead presenters at the Symposium for Antimicrobial Stewardship on November 21.

Tricia Zucker, PhD (Professor and Co-director of Children’s Learning Institute), provided an update on the Children’s Learning Institute at the McGovern Medical School State of the School Address held at the Sarofim Research Building on November 18.

 

The Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Division had the biggest list in recent memory of accepted abstracts to be presented at the Southern Society for Pediatric Research (SSPR) Annual Meeting — 18! Several team members are also receiving honors in conjunction with this event.

SSPR Annual Meeting is set for February 13 to 15, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
