PRC Associate Professor Jun Wang, PhD, chaired the “Cardiac Development, Disease, and Regeneration” session at the American Association for Anatomy’s annual meeting, Anatomy Connected 2025 held March 28–31 in Portland, OR. Session co-leader Vincent Christoffels, Amsterdam University Medical Center, is a co-PI with Wang under the AHA International Visiting Professorship Award and has visited Wang Lab here at UTHealth Houston previously for academic communication and collaboration.
Community & General Pediatrics Assistant Professor Angie Curtis, MD, CAQSM, will present on Gastrointestinal Maladies at the 24th Annual Sports Medicine Update event, presented by Memorial Hermann Hospital. The event will be held at Katy ISD Legacy Stadium with online attendance available.

Adolescent Medicine Assistant Professor Asha Davidson, MD, MPH, was a lead planner and presenter at the Bridging the Gap Conference. The conference, held May 3 at TMC3 Helix Park, launched the new UTHealth Houston Center for Eating Disorders, a partnership with the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences for which Davidson will serve as the medical director.
