Sushma Raman Hebbar, MD, CAQSM

Biography

Sushma Raman Hebbar, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, with a clinical focus in outpatient pediatric care and sports medicine. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr. Hebbar is actively involved in teaching pediatric residents and medical students, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Pediatric Society, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Her scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications and national presentations, and she was recognized as a Texas Children’s Hospital Feedback Champion in 2022.
