Hands-on Health Care

Hosted at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land

Event header with stethoscope, bulb syringe and other items

Memorial Hermann Sugar Land and Fort Bend Medical Society present this unique opportunity for local high school students interested in the health care field to interact directly with providers. Students will learn how the hospital system works as well as get to try things like intubation, suturing, and other procedures to which exposure for this group is often minimal.

Saturday, August 2

8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Memorial Hermann Sugar Land

Hunaid Gurji, DO, PhD, MS, is coordinating this event and is the main contact. The number of volunteers for this event is limited due to space constraints. Dr. Gurji will reach out if for some reason we cannot accommodate the number of volunteers we have.
