Biography

Doha Kamel Aboul-Fotouh, MD, MEd, FAAP, is a pediatric hospitalist with a passion for medical education and improving patient communication. She is a Houston native and a graduate of Rice University, followed by medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, and residency and her chief residency year at Texas Children’s Hospital. She came over to UTHealth Houston as one of two inaugural Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellows and loves serving Houston’s diverse patient population within this academic setting. She has completed her Masters in Education for health professionals at the University of Houston, and she researches how to communicate effectively with patients during times of uncertainty.
