Biography

Linda Solamen, MD, is an assistant professor of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Dr. Solamen earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago and her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten. She completed her pediatric residency at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and subsequently completed her developmental and behavioral pediatrics fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Solamen holds a Texas medical license and is board-certified in General Pediatrics.

Her clinical and academic interests center around developmental and behavioral pediatrics, with a focus on supporting children with complex developmental disabilities. She has contributed to the field through teaching, including resident lectures at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and has presented at regional and national conferences. She is an active member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
