New Division Chiefs to AMSPDC

Gabriel Anzueto, MD, division chief of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, and Mahboobeh Mahdavinia, MD, PhD, division chief of Allergy and Immunology, joined the 4th Cohort of the Division Director Academy through the Association of Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs (AMSPDC) held Oct. 3 to 5 in Chicago, IL.

Critical Care Assistant Professors Thao Nguyen, DO, FAAP, and Hunter Hamilton, MD, completed the 10K course at the UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K event on Sunday, Oct. 26. 
Assistant DMO Melinna Lara, MBA, (pictured at right) competed in the 10K as well. Pediatrics Administration Divisional Manager Suzanne Paramore also volunteered at the event that drew more than 7,000 participants, just under 400 of whom were on the UTHealth Houston team.
