As part of her American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) CATCH Grant (external link), PGY-3 resident Dominique “Nikki” Dagdag, MD, hosted the second of two successful events with Project DOCC families and pediatric/med-peds residents. This spring-themed community event was held Sunday, May 3, 12-2 p.m., at the Houston Children’s Museum and featured small-group activities—like painting and Guess Who Bingo—as well as a photo scavenger hunt all around the museum. “We hope to continue building community with families of children with chronic conditions!” Dr. Dagdag said.
