The Adolescent Medicine Division has a strong commitment to both research and education. Faculty have several manuscripts published in extremely reputable journals and have secured funding from local and national sources, including the National Institutes of Health. The entire team is actively involved in resident and fellow education and consistently receives excellent evaluations that reflect their commitment to teaching.
Additionally, these experts share their insight and experience with the local community, educating young people and their families on a healthy, proactive approach to prominent issues. Whether it’s a one-on-one Doc Talk hosted in an open-access community center or important public-health insight shared in a media appearance, the Adolescent Medicine team recognizes that knowledge is power, and they give their patients the agency to make healthy choices.
