Adolescent Medicine Fellowship
Program Overview
The Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program at UTHealth McGovern Medical School is set in the largest medical complex in the world, the Texas Medical Center. Fellows have access to the full breadth and depth of adolescent medicine through caring for youth in primary care and consultative roles. Primary clinical sites provide care to adolescents from under-served populations, including juvenile-justice facilities, with a wide variety of acute and chronic illnesses.
The program balances clinical care, research and education, as mirrored by faculty excelling in each domain to train adolescent medicine physicians for careers in academic medicine. This is a highly learner-centered fellowship, allowing fellows the freedom and flexibility to find their niche within the field.
