Fellowship Program
The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is committed to training fellows to become independent and competent pediatric endocrinologists capable of providing the best clinical care. The program emphasizes the fundamentals of clinical diagnosis, patient assessment, and management, including a multidisciplinary support system. Fellows learn to diagnose and manage different pediatric endocrinology disorders through clinical rotations and will be provided protected time to participate and conduct novel scholarly activities.
Our group includes six faculty members, specialized endocrine nurses, certified diabetes educators, and dietitians. The curriculum includes rotations in our pediatric endocrinology clinics at UT Physicians, the clinical practice of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Harris Health clinics, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital consults, and clinical research/scholarly activity.
