Pediatric Hematology

In addition to bleeding and clotting disorders and sickle cell disease, the pediatric hematologists at UTHealth Houston provide consultation and management of all non-malignant hematological disorders such as iron deficiency and other forms of anemia; neutropenia; immune-mediated and other forms of thrombocytopenia; hemoglobinopathies other than sickle cell disease; bone-marrow failure disorders; and vascular anomalies.

The Pediatric General Hematology Clinic has a wide referral base across a diverse patient population. The clinic gets referrals from various sources including but not limited to the UT Physicians Practice Plan and Memorial Hermann Hospital.
