Combined Pediatrics/Medical Genetics Virtual Interviews

A MESSAGE FOR APPLICANTS

While we prefer to have in-person residency interviews, the UT GME office has followed national guidance and asked that all residency interviews this year be conducted virtually.  We take your personal safety and the safety of the community seriously and wish to keep you protected.  We are working hard to provide a well-rounded virtual interview process, highlighting the many strengths our program has to offer you. 

Virtual Interview Day Details

Everyone will attend Medical Genetics Sign-out Conference from 8 – 9 am CST and Medical Genetics Pre-Clinic Conference from 9 – 9:50 am CST.

Interviews will begin at 10 am CST and all will meet with the Medical Genetics Interview Team.  There will be a scheduled break where you can eat your lunch and visit with current combined residents.  From 12:00 – 1:00 CST applicants will meet with the current combined Pediatrics/Medical Genetics Residents. Resident availability will vary depending on their current rotations and vacations.  Once you finish with the residents there will be a brief wrap up with Ms. Melodie Allison, Senior Residency Coordinator.  The interview day will likely conclude by 1:00 – 1:15 pm CST.
