Pediatric Stroke Fellowship
The Pediatric Stroke Fellowship is a one- to two-year vascular neurology fellowship that provides training in the full spectrum of cerebrovascular disease, from clinical care to clinical research to laboratory science. Year 1 is an ACGME-accredited fellowship in vascular neurology. For interested applicants, a second year of research-focused training is available.
The fellowship program focuses on the development of the clinician scientist who will dedicate their careers to investigating the pathophysiology and epidemiology of cerebrovascular disease and the application of this knowledge to therapeutic advances. This fellowship is embedded within the UTHealth Houston Stroke Fellowship, one of the largest and reputable fellowships in the country. Fellows will see patients at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital.
