Pediatric Rheumatology
Dr. Ankur Kamdar, Dr. Monica Bray, Annjeanette Smith, RN, and Maria Benitez, MA, work together to care for children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, autoinflammatory disorders, and multisystem autoimmune disorders. They work closely with other subspecialists to provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary care. Dr. Kamdar and Dr. Bray both also see patients for inpatient consults at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. They have a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine in the clinic with the capability to perform diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound on pediatric patients of all ages. They provide medical education to medical students, pediatric resident training physicians and adult rheumatology fellow training physicians.
