Summer Research Program Application

The program begins on Monday June 8, 2026, and ends on Thursday July 2. Successful applicants will join laboratories based on their preferred choices. Didactic courses covering introductory laboratory biochemistry and molecular biology principles and techniques will be presented on Monday mornings (9 AM-12 PM). Fridays will be reserved for student-driven seminars and workshops with lunch served. The fee of $3,800 includes registration, parking, and lab coats.

High school students 16 years of age or more are eligible to apply. Ideal candidates will be rising juniors or seniors who have a strong interest in pursuing a career in biomedical sciences or medicine. Please provide following information to apply. A copy of your high school transcript can be uploaded as a PDF scanned image. You must request letters of reference from two referees. One referee may be a person who you know personally and who is a professional in the fields of medicine or biomedical research.
