Faculty Program Affiliations
Faculty in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at McGovern Medical School are also faculty members in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, which grants PhD degrees. BMB faculty are affiliated with PhD Graduate Programs within the Graduate School to provide students with a structured educational framework. Most BMB faculty have a primary affiliation with the Graduate Program in Molecular and Translational Biology (MTB). The MTB program guides students through the process of assembling their advisory and examination committees, and it provides students with a curriculum that is tailored to their professional growth, and a nurturing environment that fosters the full realization of their potential.
