Dr. Nahas serves as the medical director for the heart and vascular program at MHSE where he has spearheaded the cardiac program expansion to include a brand new cardiovascular intensive care unit, two additional cardiovascular operating rooms, and an additional hybrid endovascular operating room to support the program.  A recent press release by Memorial Hermann quotes Dr. Nahas, “The expansion enhances our operational efficiency and provides state-of-the-art imaging to complement specialized cardiovascular care for our patients. Whether a patient comes in for a minimally invasive procedure, or requires a higher level of care, we are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.”

By providing advanced heart surgical procedures in the southeast region of Houston, patients and their family members are not burdened by the travel associated with accessing advanced heart treatment at the Texas Medical Center.  Dr. Nahas offers his services closer to home for patients and their loved ones needing his highly specialized care that is available at MHSE.
