Inpatient consultative services are provided at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Ambulatory services are provided at UT Physicians, the Harris Health System and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Fellows maintain two continuity clinics per week, at the UT Professional Building and Smith Clinic. Smith Clinic is designed for patients requiring specialty care in the Harris Health System. Fellows develop expertise in performing thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration as well as insulin pump management, interpretation of continuous glucose monitoring data, and interpretation of dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scans. Additional ambulatory experiences focus on pituitary disorders, obesity medicine, transgender medicine, and advanced thyroid cancer.
