MD Anderson is the largest and widely regarded as one of the foremost cancer centers in the world. The fellow will evaluate patients with endocrine neoplasia, paraneoplastic disorders, and familial syndromes, such as multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN).

Fellows maintain two continuity clinics per week, at the UT Professional Building and Smith Clinic. Smith Clinic is designed for patients requiring specialty care in the Harris Health System. Fellows develop expertise in performing thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspiration as well as insulin pump management, interpretation of continuous glucose monitoring data, and interpretation of dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scans. Additional ambulatory experiences focus on pituitary disorders, obesity medicine, cardiometabolic medicine, and advanced thyroid cancer.
